Jews and Hate Crimes

Why is there a big disparity in hate crimes between the many races? For example,

Crimes of hate are highest for gays while religious crimes are highest for Jews (95.8%). This is according to the recent Times report of May 10, 1994.

Gays are targeted by the educated, uneducated, religious, non-religious, successful and economic failures. In general, Many will claim that this is their moral right to save the country from decadence.

Jews, however, are attacked for other reasons. The following are the primary causes.

1.            Our country is hurting badly due to the death of moral leadership. People are frustrated. Moral markers are gone. Judaism is considered by many as immoral.

2.            There is a lot of economic failure causing family disintegration.

3.            More and more films are showing mans inhumanity to man; leaving more questions than answers; planting seeds of overt hatred. This is no different than the effects of T.V. or movie violence that leads to suggestive and increased violent bedlam. Therefore, we find more hate crimes to Jews are perpetrated by less educated (punkers, skin heads), less affluent and religious citizens. The frustration "of things going to pieces" leads to hostility to those who give the impression that "they have it together."

While hate crimes to gays are by more educated, affluent and religious people, this should help explain the disparity.
